I am working on completing what I've come to refer to as my "sketch book" of songs.  Could be a title right there we'll see.  Real bare bones, stripped down, kind of recording and admittedly personal.  Recorded on my little Fostex recording unit, a microphone and a couple friends adding their talents to enhance things here and there.  I have a notion that this is how these songs need to be right now.  I've always loved recordings that feel personal.  Albums like Bruce's Nebraska, Patti Griffin's Living with Ghosts, Bob Dylan and The Band's Basement Tapes, etc.   I am writing some new things and pulling on a couple older songs of mine.
